Told through the blinded eyes of Icarus himself, Avery Ann Wolfe’s WAX melds myth, poetry, and divine knowledge to trace every moment of the 15-year-old’s brutal freefall from heaven to earth as he reckons with a fate he can’t control, or even understand.
