Blue Christmas Service — “There Is Weeping in Ramah”

As Christmas draws near, we pause to remember that not everyone feels joy easily in this season. For some, it’s a time of empty chairs, lingering grief, or quiet pain.

The story of Christ’s birth reminds us that there was also weeping in Ramah—and still, God came to be with us.

On this night, we will gather to hold that tension together: sorrow and hope, silence and song, grief and grace—trusting that God is here, in it all.
