2025-26 Confirmation Informational Meeting

Greetings from Zion Lutheran Church!

The pastors and I would like to meet with all the confirmation families at Zion on Wednesday, September 3 from 7:00-8:00 PM. This meeting will outline expectations, guidelines, and provide time to review important dates and deadlines for the year. We will also take students through acolyte training with our elders at the end of the meeting.

If you and your student are members of a different congregation and do not plan on being confirmed at Zion, you are not required to attend this meeting. If this is correct, or you are no longer a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Bethalto and have received this email in error, please let us know so we can update our records.

We are looking forward to a great year of learning about God and His Word alongside your student. We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with you in your student’s faith journey and invite you to embrace this unique vocation God has given you. It’s important that someone in your family attend this meeting. If you are unable to attend on September 3, please reach out to us in the office and we will set up an alternate time to meet.
