Yoga for Beginners
A 6 week series on the Fundamentals of Yoga. This series will introduce the basic concepts of yoga & yoga poses (asanas), use of breathing (pranayama) & introduction to meditation. Guiding the student to develop breath awareness in linking movement to the breath, developing strength and flexibility, finding balance and ease in developing a yoga practice. The classes will be structured to allow pose development, timely question & answer, background of poses, modifications, use of props all within a safe, welcoming studio environment. This series will start with an introduction and overview of the program. The first class will focus on developing breath awareness and the start of linking the breath with yogic movement through basic supine (reclined), standing & seated poses. Each week the class will introduce new poses (asanas) and additions to ongoing yoga progression.

Series classes will held:
Sundays 11am-1pm
Cost - $140 (will include a yoga mat or eye pillow, or set of blocks)
