Doeskin Ranch Trail Maintenance Work Day

On Saturday, September 13th from 8am-11am, Balcones Canyonlands National Wildlife Refuge will be holding a trail work day at the Doeskin Ranch public use area! After the flood in July, Doeskin Ranch was closed for two months due to significant damage. Now that we have cleared the debris and made the trails safe enough to hike, we would love your help ensuring the trails continue to be accessible, clearly marked, and safe!

Please wear work gloves and clothing appropriate for working in the woods. Please also feel free to bring your own loppers as we might need them depending upon the number of volunteers who participate!

To participate just show up at Doeskin Ranch at 8am!
