The Berry Writers' Festival are thrilled to present Craig Silvey in conversation with Tori Haschka.
Craig Silvey is the acclaimed author behind 'Runt', its eagerly awaited sequel 'Runt and the Diabolical Dognapping', and the award-winning novels 'Jasper Jones' and 'Honeybee'. His debut, 'Rhubarb', launched in 2004 when he was just 19.
Some highlights of his literary achievements:
- 'Jasper Jones' has been shortlisted for the International Dublin Literary Award and the Miles Franklin Literary Award, won the Australian Book Industry Awards Book of the Year, and was a Michael J. Printz Honor book.
- 'Honeybee' won the 2021 Indie Book Awards Book of the Year – Fiction, and was Dymocks Book of the Year in 2020.
- 'Runt' has been widely praised, awarded CBCA Book of the Year for Younger Readers, Best Children’s Book and Book of the Year at the Indie Book Awards, plus a slew of others.
