Young Bernese piano talents from the Talentförderung program at Gymnasium Hofwil present themselves.


The Bernese public has once again selected the first soloist of the Young Piano Series season as part of the "Prix du Piano Bern." The 19-year-old Portuguese-Ukrainian pianist Máximo Klyetsun, winner of the 2025 "Prix du Piano Bern," will perform the opening concert of the 2025/2026 season.

Máximo is considered one of the most promising talents among the new generation of Portuguese pianists. He studies at the École Normale de Musique de Paris and the University of Minho and has performed in major concert halls throughout Europe.

The young pianist has won several awards at international competitions, including in Paris, Vienna, Ibiza, New York and Braga, and has already appeared on Portuguese television.

This concert will be accompanied by a workshop with a school class from the Talentförderung program at Gymnasium Hofwil to give young piano players an insight behind the scenes and to think together about the future of classical music and piano recitals.
