We are happy to announce that for our October General Meeting we have confirmation that our guest speaker will be a Representative of The Worcester County Humane Society. They will be giving a presentation about the organization, how they work, how their adoption process works, and how we, the Power Squadron members, may help their organization with volunteers, donations and other general information about our Humane Society. They have also offered to bring a couple of animals that are up for adoption. If you have an interest in adoption of an animal, I encourage each member to check out the Worcester County Humane Society website (SEE LINK BELOW).
Note: While you’re browsing the adoption site, if you happen upon a new Buddy you may be interested in and would like to meet them at our meeting, please contact me and I will ask them to bring her/him along.
I think this event will be a good one and you probably do not want to miss it! I encourage each member to come out to show our support for the Worcester County Humane Society and have a wonderful night of socializing while doing so.
