Join us for a guided Avian Adventure at Newport Farms led by ACT's Executive Director & Assateague Coastkeeper, Taylor Swanson. Taylor is a life-long expert birder who will guide us and explore the wonder of Migration Madness! Witness firsthand how migratory birds rely on the Eastern Shore as a critical stopover on their long journeys—and learn why protecting these habitats is vital to their survival.
Our region plays a key role in providing food, shelter, and safe passage for countless bird species. From wetlands to farmland, these landscapes are lifelines—but only if we safeguard them with clean water and healthy ecosystems. 🌊

Please Note- Dress appropriately for the weather - feel free to bring your binoculars or scopes. Please arrive 15 min. early and we will meet outside the gated area. Once we have everyone accounted for, we will make our way into the property. Carpooling would be an excellent idea for this occasion.
