Let's Talk Port Kembla

Council staff will be available to provide information and answer your questions about what’s happening in the Port Kembla area and surrounding suburbs including Cringila, Kemblawarra, Primbee and Warrawong.

You’ll have the opportunity to speak with various Council teams from:
- Recreational Planning
- Regulation and Enforcement
- Events
- Beach Services
- Libraries and Community Facilities
- Strategic Planning

Staff can chat about a wide range of topics including planning for our towns and information about our services. Customer Service representatives will also be there to assist with general enquiries.

We will be joined by representatives of Port Kembla Copper who will be able to provide information about the investigation works being completed to assess the potential legacy contamination associated with historical operations at the former smelter. The Environment Protection Authority will also be attending if you have any questions they can assist with on environmental matters in the area.

The Port Kembla Community Investment Fund will have representatives that can talk to the recent announcement and process to apply for a combined total of $1million in grant funding to support projects in the community.

No need to book in for this event. Just come by any time between 3.30 - 5.30pm.
