MEETING SPOT: North West corner of the Northern (Chittaway road side) carpark (see map / location pin)
DIFFICULTY: Easy-Moderate
DISTANCE: 2-4km (2 x laps of a 2km loop/circuit). Option to join for one lap or two! We stop for a short drink break between laps.
PACE: Average (dependent on the amount of sniffing and rolling!)
ACCESSIBILTY: Mix of concrete path, with some sections on grass/gravel/quiet road shoulder. It is fairly flat, with a very slight, gentle incline on one side of the loop, and a very slight, gentle decline on the other side of the loop.
WALK INFO: A nice walk to finish off the day, following the loop road clockwise around the Uni. This is usually a very quiet loop walk, with few other dogs or people or cars. Second lap we follow a slightly different route.
FACILITIES: There are bins and a few seats on the way.
All dogs are welcome, but must be on leash - please no retractables.
Treats are fine for your own dog, but we ask that you do not treat other dogs, due to medical and aggression issues with some dogs
Please remember to:
Ask - before you meet a new dog.
Act - If the answer is no please move away & give the dog some space.
If the answer is yes. 3 second rule is a good way to start
Achieve - a safe & fun walk.
