Kick off the new year with art, conversation, and community!
Come join us for an evening where artists and a union representative dive into what work really means — how it shapes who we are, the value it brings to our communities, and why it’s worth standing up for.
We’ll hear from Jingyi Wang, Katarina Jazbec, and Sofie Hviid Vinther, together with Amund Losen Moholdt from the Norwegian Union of General Workers.
The event connects to Jingyi Wang’s video installation Voice to Voice and Katarina Jazbec’s poetic video essay You Can’t Automate Me, and builds on Sofie Hviid Vinther’s practice here in Bergen.
Each artist explores work as something more than just a job — it’s a space of creativity, struggle, and identity. And with insights from the world of labour organizing, we’ll open up a conversation about dignity, solidarity, and what a fair future for work could look like.
It is free of charge and everyone is welcome — come for the art, stay for the dialogue!
