Seminar for supervisors of PhD students in Artistic Research

Are you supervising PhD students in Artistic Research? Welcome to an in-person seminar for supervisors, 20 October 2025, Bergen.

The theme is Ethics in Artistic Research, and the seminar consist of three parts:

Part 1:
Ethics in the Norwegian Artistic Research School (language: EN)
What do PhD students learn in our seminars? What questions do the PhD students raise?

Part 2:
Law, ethics, and aestethics (language: NO). Open seminar, organized as part of Bergen International Film Festival (BIFF): A conversation about legal and ethical challenges that may arise when depicting other people's realities. Participation: KriStine Ann Skaret, PhD student at Inland University and Tom G. Eilertsen, partner in the law firm Bull

Part 3:
Ethics in Artistic Research: A dive into the new Guide (language: EN). How can the new guide support your supervision of PhD students?
