At a moment when Kalaallit Nunaat (Greenland) is at the center of global political attention, Kunsthall 3,14 welcomes you to the opening of Memory in Motion — a group exhibition presenting powerful works by Julie Edel Hardenberg, Ivínguak Stork Høegh, Inuk Silis Høegh and Asmund Havsteen-Mikkelsen.
Working across photo collage, video, installation and sculpture, the artists explore how colonial histories continue to shape questions of identity, territory and self-determination. Addressing themes of sovereignty, representation and geopolitical tension, the exhibition insists on Kalaallit Nunaat not as a strategic object of global interest, but as an active agent in shaping its own history.
Opening speech by Kjetil Smørås, Danish Consul in Bergen and owner of De Bergenske.
