Bloxham Tapes and Bergen Kjøtt is pleased to welcome the UK's premier neo-jazz wrecking crew SLY AND THE FAMILY DRONE! With roots in cassette collage and noise experimentation, Sly have grown into a multi-limbed sonic organism. Layering dense electronics, skronking saxophone, and feral percussion into a convulsive celebration of noise, rhythm, and resistance.
Originally formed by Matt Cargill as a cassette manipulation project, Sly have evolved into a full-force live ensemble, positioned somewhere between free jazz, noise, industrial and rave culture. Their music is improvised but never aimless, creating towering crescendos and warped textures that leave no two performances alike. Joining them will be the debut performance from percussion and electronic noise trio MIRE/MARSH/FEN who blend percussive motifs, field recordings, processed noise and modular synth. Featuring Omar Johnsen (Casiokids/Neo Borneo), Luke Drozd (Misery Bacon/Reet Maff'l) and Owen Weaver (Yrry/BIT20).

ACCESS
Bergen Kjøtt has access from street level, welcomes service dogs and has toilet facilities available for all genders which are wheelchair accessible. Visitors with wheelchairs have access to the 2nd floor Fabrikkhallen via the elevator from street level (the side entrance is via a ramp up of 1-2cm; all doors for the route above have a width of min. 110 cm).
Companions have free admission, and can register in advance of the event.
