Alpha er et kurs som skaper en plass der du sammen med andre kan diskutere livets store spørsmål. Vi mener at alle bør få muligheten til å utforske tro, stille spørsmål og dele sitt synspunkt. Hver samling tar opp ulike spørsmål rundt tro og er designet for å skape samtale. Kurset er gratis, og skjer i Forum (Fjøsangerveien 28) på følgende datoer:

Eksempler på emner:
- Hvem er Jesus? Historiske og teologiske perspektiver: identitet, troverdighet, hvorfor han fortsatt er relevant.
- Hvorfor døde Jesus? - Korset, tilgivelse, forsoning og hva kristen tro mener at Jesu død faktisk gjør for mennesker.
- Hvordan kan jeg ha tro? Hva tro er, hvordan den vokser, og hva det vil si å ta et steg mot Jesus.
- Hvorfor og hvordan lese Bibelen? Hvorfor Bibelen er troverdig, hvordan man kan lese den, og hvorfor den er sentral i kristen tro.
- Hvorfor og hvordan be? Hva bønn er, hvorfor kristne ber, og hvordan man faktisk begynner å be på en enkel og praktisk måte.

Alpha is a course that creates a space where, together with others, you can discuss life’s big questions. We believe everyone should have the opportunity to explore faith, ask questions, and share their perspective. Alpha is a place where you can explore the Christian faith. Each session addresses different questions about faith and is designed to encourage conversation.
The course is free of charge. Sessions take place on various days in February, with joint gatherings at Forum on Sundays: March 8, 15, 22, and 29, from 4:00–5:45 PM.
Examples of topics:
- Who is Jesus? Historical and theological perspectives: his identity, credibility, and why he is still relevant today.
- Why did Jesus die? The cross, forgiveness, reconciliation, and what Christian faith believes Jesus’ death actually means for people.
- How can I have faith? What faith is, how it grows, and what it means to take a step toward Jesus.
- Why and how should I read the Bible? Why the Bible is trustworthy, how to read it, and why it is central to the Christian faith.
- Why and how should I pray? What prayer is, why Christians pray, and how to start praying in a simple and practical way.
