Want learn a new hobby and get muddy while spending quality time with your mini-me?
We have you covered in this beginner friendly "Parent and Me" Pottery Wheel class!
Join us for a 2-hour adventure where you’ll learn the fundamentals of centering your clay on the wheel and crafting your very own small bowl or vessel. No experience required, this class is designed for all skill levels! All pottery will be made using high-quality, microwave and dishwasher safe, stoneware clay.
All pieces made in class will be ready in 3 weeks, after they have dried and been kiln-fired. You can either choose a color for us to glaze your pieces for you for a fee, or return to the studio to glaze them yourself during open hours for no additional fee. Either way, you will receive a text message when they are ready for you. All pottery must be picked up within 60 days.
Important Details:
-Wheel throwing is a bit messy (it IS mud!), so we highly recommend not wearing anything you wouldn’t want to get clay on and bringing a hand towel to class. Aprons will be provided.
-Feel free to bring your own snacks and drinks. All drinks must have a covered top.
-Long hair must be tied back and hand jewelry must be removed.
-Space is limited, only 6 students per session.
-Minimum age is 7 years. All children must be accompanied by a participating adult.
-Ticket price is per person.
