We are excited to announce our first Young Player workshop of 2026. The workshop will be upstairs at the Royal Theater in downtown Benton on Saturday, February 14.
K-5th grades will attend from 10-11am
6th - 12th grades will attend from 11am-12pm
This workshop will focus on character acting and our workshop hostess is Summer Brinley. Summer received her bachelor's degree in Theater- Acting/Directing from the University of Arkansas - Fort Smith in 2021. Since then she has been actively involved on and off stage in the central Arkansas theater scene, most recently directing Jekyll & Hyde the Musical at the Royal.
Character development is one of the most important fundamentals to learn as an actor...and the most fun! Learning how a character's history, objectives, environment, relationships, personality, physicality, and voice are all part of this process. We will explore this process through movement and games. Wear movement attire!

The workshop is closed to parents, but feel free to enjoy some of our downtown businesses while you wait.
