For those in the greater Sierra Vista are we will meet at the Chevron at the the intersection of AZ90 and AZ82 for a 0830 departure to the final meeting point at the Love's Travel Stop
643 AZ-90, Benson, AZ 85602 for a final pit stop before heading to the trailhead. We will depart Loves at 0915 and take E I10 to North on Ocotillo Rd for the 20 mile trip to the trailhead where we will air down. This is a 5 mile in and then back out difficult trail, 35" tires and one locker will be your best friend. It would probably rate a 6 on most trail apps. You know you and your rig best. Bring plenty of water/drinks/snacks and a lunch if desired. The forecasted high is 72 under partly cloudy skies with the ever so slight (9%) chance of rain. Depending on group consensus possibly late lunch/early dinner in Benson after the run. GMRS channel 7 will be used for primary communications between rigs. Fun yet challenging run, hope to see you there.
