Dear Friends and Community Members,
We are excited to invite you to join us for a heartfelt outreach event, “Taking Jesus to The Streets,” on Saturday, September 20th, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the newly completed Skate Park on Depot Street in Bennington, Vermont. This gathering is an open invitation for everyone in our community to come together, no strings attached, as we strive to be the hands and feet of Jesus.
Our mission is simple yet profound: to feed and clothe those in need and to care for the downhearted. We will be serving free hotdogs, chili, and other delicious hot dishes for all to enjoy. Additionally, we have planned engaging activities with free giveaways for both kids and adults, ensuring a fun and uplifting experience for all attendees.
To make this outreach a success, we welcome your support in any form. We are accepting donations of food and items that can be given away, such as skateboards, scooters, roller skates, roller blades, helmets, knee and elbow pads, and more. Financial contributions from individuals or businesses are also greatly appreciated and will directly support this initiative. For those who wish to donate, I can provide a letter for tax purposes to acknowledge your generosity.
This is a wonderful opportunity for us to come together as the Body of Christ, demonstrating love and compassion to our neighbors in need. Your involvement can make a significant difference in the lives of many. Let us unite to serve our community, sharing the love of Jesus in tangible ways.
