Jack-O'-Lantern Contest and Stories at the Library

Funding for this event is provided by the Friends of the Benicia Library.

Bring your decorated pumpkin to our annual contest! For all ages!

Jack-o'-Lantern Contest 7PM

Stories for different ages 7:30PM

Who won the Contest? 8PM

Any given jack-o'-lantern's design (and, so far as is safe execution) should be done by the person in that age group - so if you are an adult and do all the design and work on a 2-year-old's pumpkin, that's an entry for the 13 and up group. Categories are Everybody's Favorite (voted on by you), Most Creative, Scariest and Judges' Wild Card.

No live flames or flashing lights in the jack-o'-lanterns!
