This spring, Discovery is calling all storm chasers for Wild Weather, our brand-new live science show! From September 20 to October 5, join us twice daily at 11:30 AM and 1:00 PM as we summon mini tornadoes and spark a little lightning. It’s a storm of experiments that reveals the science behind the weather that shapes our world.
And that’s just the beginning. Your holiday visit is packed with even more ways to explore.
Planetarium feature: The Sun, Our Living Star
Dive into the fiery heart of our solar system and discover how the Sun drives life and weather on Earth. Daily at 12:00 PM.
Extra Vertical Slide Sessions
Take on gravity at full force with four sessions daily at 11:00am, 12:30pm, 1:30pm, and 3:00pm.
VCES Space Flight Workshops
For curious kids in Grades 3–6, chart your own course through the stars in our holiday workshops. Thursdays 25 September and 2 October at 2:00 PM. Free for public school students.
