September Session: Conveying the Human Experience through Visual Art

Artist Kain White will discuss some 19th to 21st century artists who draw on nature, life and the human condition in an attempt to capture something deeper. He will share some of his own experiences of navigating the modern art scene as an artist interested in traditional aesthetics and techniques, and raise questions about the validity of engaging in a creative practice.

Kain White is a painter, drawer, printmaker and teacher who has been practicing in the arts for over twenty-five years. He has exhibited in Melbourne and Sydney as well as various regional galleries.
