FROM: City of Greater Bendigo – Epsom Huntly Waterways Study
RSVP required – light dinner provided
Part 2 of the Community Emergency & Waterways Workshop Series is here.
Flooding is complex, and it affects how we live, build, travel and recover as a community. This workshop is a chance to take a closer look at flooding across Epsom and Huntly and work through practical actions together.
Join us to explore where flooding occurs, why it happens, and what we can realistically do to reduce its impact.
At this workshop we will:
• Describe where flooding occurs and what contributes to it
• Discuss ideas to reduce impacts before, during and after a flood
• Confirm who does what and when
• Talk about how solutions become a reality
• Discuss realistic timeframes
The workshop will be independently facilitated by Maree Grenfell and Martina Holland.
Flooding affects all of us. Professional support will be available during the session.
This is a community conversation focused on preparedness, clarity and next steps. Your local knowledge matters.
