Ashley Joyce of Bend Urban Gardens will lead us through an interactive workshop on practical tips for winterizing your garden.
Together, we’ll explore:
Cover Cropping – Learn how to enrich your soil and protect it naturally with fall plantings.
Mulching – Discover the best materials and methods to insulate, conserve moisture and build soil health.
Fall Sowing – Gain confidence in what you can plant now for an early start next season.
This workshop is designed to be engaging, informative, and full of take-home knowledge. Whether you’re a beginner or seasoned gardener, you’ll leave with the skills to put your garden to bed in a way that’s both sustainable and productive.
Suggested $10 donation at the door.
This is an outdoor class. Please bring a camp chair, water bottle, seasonally-appropriate clothing - and snacks if needed! There are also no bathroom facilities on site, so plan accordingly.
