Father Luke’s Room at McMenamin’s Old St Francis is about to get a whole lot louder, weirder, and more soulful. On Saturday, August 30 at 7:00 PM, a brand-new Open Mic Night kicks off in the heart of downtown Bend — inviting poets, comics, musicians, storytellers, and misfits of all kinds to take the stage and let loose.
Hosted in one of Bend’s most iconic and atmospheric venues — a former Catholic school turned eclectic pub — this open mic promises more than just performances. It’s a community ritual, a creative revival, and a celebration of raw, unfiltered expression.
Whether you’re a seasoned performer, a nervous first-timer, or just there for the great beer and even better stories, you are welcome. The mic is open. The vibe is sacred-chaotic. The spotlight is yours.
