Come join us for Tuesday Jazz with Marianne Thomas & Friends.
Marianne Thomas is a versatile, engaging vocalist with a strong, soulful voice whose warm style blends the elegance of jazz standards with the heart of the blues. A gifted songwriter, pianist, and performer, she has released three full-length albums and toured extensively throughout Boston and the East Coast area.
A graduate of Brown University, where she studied piano, voice, and composition, Marianne brings both technical skill and heartfelt expression to every performance. She is known for her easy connection with audiences—every listener feels like a friend.
Also an accomplished actress and musical director, she has recently served as Musical Director for Fiddler on the Roof and played the lead in Noises Off, earning a reputation for her expressive stage presence and effortless comic flair. Whether singing, acting, or composing, Marianne connects with audiences through honesty, humor, and a deep love of storytelling.
Now based in Bend, she continues to teach private piano and voice while performing locally with her signature down-to-earth charm. Catch Marianne live at The Commonwealth Pub on December 2, backed by the swinging trio Single Malt Jazz — Don McFarlane on keys, Tom Freedman on bass, and Mathew Williams on drums.
