Saddle up, Bend! We’re kicking off free beginner line dance lessons at The Coyote—downtown’s brand-new country spot—with Alex Reininger (Mindful Motion) leading the fun. No experience (and no partner) needed—just bring your boots or comfy shoes and a can-do two-step attitude.
What to expect
- 2 beginner-friendly line dances you’ll actually use on the dance floor
- Step-by-step teaching, plenty of practice time, and lots of high-fives
- All ages welcome for lessons; bar service per venue rules
When & where:
Every Wednesday, 7:00–8:00 PM
The Coyote — 910 NW Harriman St, Bend (corner of Harriman & Greenwood, in the former Unofficial Logging Co. space).
Why The Coyote?
Because it’s Bend’s newest country hangout—think Old Town Scottsdale meets downtown Nashville vibes, with neon glow, upscale finishes, and room to dance. They just celebrated their grand opening and even have a mechanical bull on some nights—aka maximum country fun.
Cost: Lessons are free (come early to snag a spot on the floor!).
Instructor: Alex Reininger, founder of Mindful Motion, specializing in inclusive, confidence-building beginner classes.
Pro tips
- Arrive a few minutes early to check in, grab water, and meet your fellow dancers.
- Invite a friend—everything’s more fun in a line.
- Stay after to practice your new moves when the music turns up.
