Capoeira is an Afro-Brazilian martial art that combines elements of mobility, dance, acrobatics, rhythm, community and music. It is known for its quick and complex moves, using power, speed, and leverage for a wide variety of kicks, spins, and highly mobile techniques.
The series is hosted at the spacious High Desert Martial Arts in Bend, Oregon, where you'll be guided by Capoeira Bend's own Instructor Embauba in a comfortable and friendly environment. Regardless of your fitness level or martial arts experience, you will enjoy learning the basics of Capoeira while seeing a path towards improving your strength, flexibility, and overall fitness.
