Handcrafted Wooden Pens - Holiday Gift Workshop

This December, create a one-of-a-kind holiday gift that’s as meaningful as it is beautiful! In this hands-on class, you’ll learn how to turn a wooden pen on the lathe—a project that is both beginner-friendly and highly rewarding.

With step-by-step guidance, students will shape the pen body on the lathe, sand and finish it to a smooth polish, and assemble it into a unique writing piece. Wooden pens are elegant, timeless, and perfect for gifting to family, friends, coworkers, or even keeping for yourself as a special treat.

By the end of class, you’ll take home a handcrafted pen that’s ready to wrap and place under the tree—a holiday gift that’s sure to be cherished for years to come.

This is a project-oriented class and does not result in certification to independently use the wood lathe. To become certified the lathe students are encouraged to follow up with Wood Turning 101 - Introduction to the Wood Lathe, or book Private Instruction.
