Our first Contradance is on Saturday, October 11. It would really help get the season started if you’d help get the word out in any way possible.
The evening starts at 7pm with a half hour of teaching dances to newcomers or those wanting a refresher. Live music starts at 7:30pm and goes to 9:30pm.

High Country Dance Band ~
Lynn Hawkins started the High Country Dance Band in 1989 to provide music for the new Bend Community Contra Dance series. They were the house band from 1989 until 1997. The band has undergone many personnel changes over the last 35+ years. Their members are Larry Gregerson, mando; Steve Knapp, bass; Leonard Rice, guitar; and Lynn Hawkins, fiddle.

Tickets are by sliding scale donation. Our break even is $15. Kids are free up to 10 y.o.
