Basket Coiling

In this workshop, you will learn how to create a raffia basket from start to finish. Through the gentle, repetitive motion of stitching, the process naturally creates a zen-like atmosphere. You will learn how to coil the center, add raffia, change colors, and properly finish the basket, along with a special “bridge” stitch to elevate your design. All materials are provided, including a table full of assorted colored raffia, needles, clips, and embellishments.
