Join us at Benarkin State Forest for a training and working bee weekend! We will be preparing for the Race 3, so please come down early and help us to check and prepare the trails. Any garden equipment you can bring along will be helpful (Shovel, Rakes, pruner, hedge trimmer, line trimmer etc)
Saturday Drivers Meet-4pm,

Sunday Drivers Meet: 6:30

Event site is located in the Benarkin State Forest, entry off the D'Aguilar HWY onto Forest Drv. Follow the yellow Sled Dog Racing Signs
Self Sufficient camping is available on site, there is no power, water, toilets (you must have your own) or showers. Generators are permitted. FIRES are strictly PROHIBITED. Free camping is available at First Settlers rest stop in Benarkin aprox 2km away, toilet, shower and metered power is available. Paid options are also available with full amenities, we reccomend Blackbutt Showgrounds.
What to bring:
-Warm clothes, gloves, beanie
-2L Water per dog + more for yourself
-Camping Gear
-Food for you and Dog
-Sled dog equipment if you have it (if not let us know what you need)
-Helmet and protective eyewear, headlight and bike light
-Closed Shoes
- Means of securing your dogs (chew proof)
No fires are permitted in the forest, You must take all your rubbish including Dog Poop with you and dogs must be on lead at all times.
