We are back!
After an active Spring & Summer settling in at the new store in Bellevue, we are excited to start up our events to help raise awareness and money for our local rescues and shelters. As always, our events are FREE of charge. We simply ask for a donation that will go directly to the named rescue or shelter.
This year for Halloween, we have selected Sable Kennels as the beneficiary of your generous donations. Sable Kennels is a small rescue that does big things for the community and animals in their care. Unfortunately, they have experienced some sadness in the recent past. Most recently, Sable Kennels had a large truck flip into their facility. Fortunately, no humans or animals were injured. They also lost one of their dedicated volunteers, Mary Hart. Mary was a compassionate and caring person who made daily sacrifices for the animals she loved so much and the organizations she supported. May we all live our lives a little more like Mary.
To add a little more excitement to the photo event, we are going to have a Costume Contest. Every participant's photo will be shared on social media for our followers to like. The winner with the highest number of likes from our original Instagram and Facebook post will be declared the winner. If there is a tie, the prize will be split accordingly. No likes from shared posts will be valid. If you want a good chance of winning, invite your friends and family to follow @wagsburghpgh and @wagsburgh so they too can participate.
Since we're in a new location, we will have a new process to follow.
1) Guests will be taken first come first serve.
2) You will enter through the side door on S. Sprague Ave. Any guests entering through the main door will be asked to enter through the side.
3) You will be checked in using your email address.
4) We ask that you maintain a safe distance from other guests.
5) All dogs must be on leash at all times. NO RETRACTABLE LEASHES.
6) Small animals and cats MUST stay in their crate before and after their pictures.
7) There will be NO costume changes allowed.
8) All photos taken are at the discretion of the photographer.
9) Smartphone pictures are permitted during the photographer's session.
10) After your shoot, you are welcome to shop with us and will then exit through the main entrance.
