Wayward Dancers sponsored by Parkersburg YMCA at the 47th Apple Butter Stir Off Festival

Wayward Dancers is a bellydance troupe made up of both teachers and students, sponsored by the Parkersburg YMCA. This group came together with a shared love for movement, music, and community — and they dance not for competition, but for charity, fun, connection, and self-expression.

Throughout the year, Wayward Dancers perform at various events in the region, using dance as a way to bring people together and support causes close to their hearts. If you’d like to help out, any donations received this month will go to BrAva, a local nonprofit that provides support to children and families of children diagnosed with cancer.
