Yoga Foundations Workshop

New to yoga and want to learn the essentials? Ready to take your practice to the next level?

Back by popular demand, join Aletheia and Allison for this workshop that first deconstructs, then reconstructs, fundamental asanas and sequences. We will explore subtle movements and shifts in our body that create proper alignment, reduce risk of injury, and allow you to get the maximum benefit from each posture.

Starting with our foundation, we will establish how each point of our bodies makes contact with the mat and supports our various poses. From there, you'll access your core and learn how to move around your center with fluidity and confidence.

This workshop is perfect for those new to yoga who want to learn the fundamentals, and for experienced yogis who want to gain more confidence in their practice. Based on a steady commitment to alignment, as well as physical and emotional health, this workshop offers a unique balance of slow, precise instruction with yoga philosophy and attention to our multiple subtle bodies. Join us on the mat to develop tools and practices that will lead you from your mat into your life with awareness, purpose and clarity.
