FAC is pleased to welcome Bulgarika back to Boston on their 2025 tour!

An evening with Bulgarika, with everyone sharing their passions for Bulgarian music and dance, is an event that is greatly enjoyed by all and not soon forgotten!

About Bulgarika
Bulgarika is a unique folklore band playing traditional music from all the Bulgarian regions. Nikolay Kolev and Donka Koleva have invited two extraordinary musicians to join them for the 2025 tour: Stoyan Kostov on tambura and Anton Shekerjiev on tupan and kaba gaida.

All of these musicians have been steeped in Bulgarian music and rhythms beginning at a young age. In their performances and playing for dances they draw on both their formal and informal training, as well as their experiences as teachers.
