Sunday Morning Bird Walk

Curious about birds and the incredible species we have here in the Pacific Northwest? Join professional naturalist and experienced birder Kate Brown for a relaxed Sunday morning bird walk. We will chat about what to look and listen for while birding, discuss some of the common species we are likely to spot around Whatcom Falls and what makes them unique- then meander the trails while birding and chatting. Bring your coffee, donuts, and any binoculars you might have (I own a few to share- but we should be able to appreciate birds up close even without them).

All abilities welcome- the trails we will be exploring are mostly flat or gently inclined, trail subrtrate includes pavement and hard packed dirt. There are bathroom facilities at the trailhead. Ages16+ (check back in, as I also host all-ages/family-friendly walks as well)
