About the event

Sharks of New England
Dun-dun… Dun-dun...You might already know about New England’s famous great white sharks — but did you know that almost 20 other kinds of sharks live in our waters, too? Come discover what makes sharks so amazing and how different species use our coastal habitats in their own unique ways. Why do sharks have different-shaped teeth? Why are some of them super-fast while others take it slow? And what’s the story behind the thresher shark’s super long tail? Join marine biologist, Dr. Laura Ekstrom, for a jawsome presentation full of fun facts and fascinating science about these incredible animals!

For families (geared towards ages 8 to adult).

Registration not required--drop in!
