Ahoy, Mateys! Join the 5K Pirate Run! Lace up your running shoes and grab your pirate gear! This swashbuckling fun run is on Sunday, September 28, 2025, starting at 9am. Whether you run, walk, or swagger your way along the waterfront course, you’ll be part of the adventure. Costumes are encouraged, treasures await, and every racer helps us celebrate Bellingham’s maritime spirit. Suggested donation of $18 per racer will help support Bellingham SeaFeast and their year-round programming to celebrate maritime heritage and promote ocean conservation.

The race course begins at the beautiful Zuanich Park (Squalicum Boathouse) and loops its way around the park and Bellwether Way. The course includes a variety of family friendly obstacles designed to keep you on your toes, while channeling your love for the maritime spirit. Costumes are highly encouraged, so don your best pirate or maritime-inspired attire for your chance to win fun prizes. At the finish line, you can join in the fun at Bellingham SeaFeast and fill up on some delicious seafood. Bring your fishy friends and get ready to make a splash.
