Message and Medium and Whatcom READS First Friday

From March 6–28, Message and Medium features artists Akiko Victorson, Katherine Potzler, and Prentiss Cole, exploring the power of language in art through calligraphy, psychology, Eastern philosophy, journal-making, and other media. The exhibit also includes the annual Whatcom READS Art Challenge, in collaboration with Bellingham & Whatcom Libraries, with local artists creating works inspired by this year’s chosen book, Solito: A Memoir by Javier Zamora. Together, the shows celebrate creativity, foster engagement, and invite audiences to connect with artists and ideas.
