"Discovering the Botanical Macro World through your Lens"
For anyone who has wanted to master Macro Photography on their DSLR or mirrorless camera, this workshop is for you. With both lecture and hands-on exercises, you’ll learn the guidelines, tips and tricks to great macro photography, along with accessories that enhance your macro photography. You will then put your new knowledge into action using a variety of indoor macro set-ups with one-on-one help from the instructor.

Materials Students Bring: DSLR or Mirrorless 35mm camera, macro lens, tripod and cable shutter release (wired or unwired). Comfortable clothing that allows some standing and movement. NOTE: If you aren’t familiar with the basics of your camera, make sure to bring the manual or know how to access it online.

Instructor Bio:
Carol Sheppard is an award-winning, published photographer who has taught photography classes at community colleges, photography conferences, and camera clubs across the U.S. In addition to Macro Photography, her classes include creative indoor photography, incorporating textures into your photography, and in-depth basic and creative cell phone photography.
