Before the Next Mistake follows Carolyn, Ava, and Jazmine as they join forces in their own "Red Flag Society" support group, and eventually launch a podcast to search for the answers that will keep them from making the same relationship mistakes.

Determined to avoid all red flags in future love interests, Carolyn, Ava and Jazmine watch events unravel in each other's lives until they begin to recognize their own flaws. With the help of their support group, their willingness to see things differently, and the quirkiness of how their lives come together, the three women embark on new and surprising journeys as they each strive to become their own best selves.

Cate Perry has a B.A. in English Literature and a Masters in Secondary Education. She has taught English for over twenty-five years and works as a developmental editor. An alumna of the Squaw Valley Writers Workshop, she has multiple publications and was recognized as a top ten and a Judge's Favorite in Ink and Insights Writing Contests.

Cate likes to sing and play guitar at open mics. She lives in beautiful Skagit Valley with her daughter, two cats and two dogs.
