BCMS at the Leo

Looking forward to presenting the world premiere of Jenni Brandon's "Osmia: Dream of the Mason Bee" for flute, clarinet, bassoon, violin, viola, cello and marimba with BCMS on February 22nd at the Hotel Leo (3pm). This is the culmination of a long project that we have been working on with Jenni over the past two years. This composition traces the lifecycle of a mason bee and will be presented with a slide show curated by BCMS board member, Jennifer Weeks.

Our 2pm Preconcert lecture will feature THYRA MCKELVIE, MANAGING DIRECTOR AND GLOBAL SOLITARY BEE EDUCATOR at Rent Mason Bees, the largest solitary bee provider in the U.S. Find out all about these super-pollinators.
