LOOM Storytelling & Pizza

A few years ago, Anna Dowd, Olivia Bernardini and Hayley Egan started talking about creating a space for storytelling in the community, and LOOM was born. Inspired by The Moth, the collective works with local storytellers through weeks of fireside gatherings, helping them shape their personal narratives into powerful ten-minute stories. Each story has been thoughtfully crafted and will be told live for the first time at this inaugural event.

Persia Wildwood will guide the evening, bringing decades of story work to create the right atmosphere for deep listening. Expect raw, honest, compelling tales from neighbors and community members as they take you through journeys of memory, discovery and transformation.

Wood-fired pizza and live music weave through the evening while storytellers share their carefully crafted narratives. This is storytelling as cultural practice, creating spaces where everyone’s voice has value.

Tickets include dinner and an evening of curated storytelling that supports Taranta Festival. Come hungry for both food and stories, and prepare to laugh, reflect and feel deeply connected to the people who call this place home.
