This afternoon's program of German and American Art Song celebrates love, nature, and motherhood in its many incarnations. Music by Mozart, Schubert, Robert and Clara Schumann, Copland, Aghababian, Bachmann, Hoiby and Heggie illuminate the words of beloved poets including Goethe, Heine, Eichendorff, Emily Dickinson, Gene Scheer and more.
