Silent Films & Improvisations with John Schwandt

Dr. John Schwandt will provide improvised accompaniment to the silent films "That's My Wife" (Laurel & Hardy) and "Coney Island" (Fatty Arbuckle & Buster Keaton). Dr. Schwandt will also provide improvisations on submitted themes.

At 7pm, Professor of English & Scholar-in-Residence Dr. Lou Markos will provide a lecture on the history and cultural significance of silent films.

This recital is free and takes place in Belin Chapel at Houston Christian University.
