Synopsis:
When young Jim Hawkins is left a treasure map by the dying buccaneer Billy Bones, he sets sail on the Hispaniola in search of the island. Among the crew, the one-legged Long John Silver becomes his greatest friend, but Silver has a shocking secret in store, and when they reach their destination, Jim faces danger and adventure greater than he could ever have imagined.

Other Information:
Treasure Island is a fast-paced adventure with lots of swashbuckling action. Some cast will also be required to assist in scene changes.
Actors may be cast in multiple roles. Additionally, every actor doubles variously as customers of the Admiral Benbow Inn, sailors in Bristol and assorted extra pirates.
All stated ages and genders of characters are based on the source material. They are merely recommendations, not requirements. Auditionees are encouraged to audition for any role that interests them.

The narrator of the story. A young boy who is flung into the adventure of a lifetime.

A ruthless and cunning, yet affable and jovial one-legged pirate. A complicated criminal who grows to respect and befriend Jim.

A learned and sensible former veteran. Intelligent and rational.
Squire Trelawney

An adventurous and excitable fighting man. One of Dr Livesey’s oldest friends.
Captain Smollett

Captain of the Hispaniola. An experienced mariner, strict and serious.
