Asclepius — god of healing, dreams, and deep restoration
His daughters — including Hygieia (wholeness), Panacea (universal remedy), and Iaso (gentle healing)
These temples were not just for the ill. They were for the initiated sick — those ready to meet the inner source of their imbalance.
Together we will enter The Sacred Sleep (Enkoimesis) In the crypt-like abaton (a restricted, dark chamber), the supplicant would sleep. There, Asclepius or serpents (his sacred symbol) might appear in vision or dream, delivering healing not as cure, but as revelation.
