The Big Bridge Challenge at W5 LIFE

Hands On Engineering That Inspires! Imagine building a real bridge— yes, a real one!

As part of Science and Discovery Month, come and join the team at W5 LIFE for The Big Bridge Challenge! Designed to ignite passion and curiosity about engineering, this event will transform W5 LIFE’s space into a hands-on construction zone, where you will help us to bring science, technology and teamwork to life.

Working as a team, you will build our 13-metre-long, 3-metre-high cable-stayed bridge in an interactive, totally hands-on workshop that will give you the excitement of engineering in a fun and accessible way.

This is a free event, suitable for ages 8+. Please note under 8’s will not be able to attend this event due to the nature of the construction site. Places are limited so we advise booking in advance. 

Please book tickets for each participant including adults. Adult participation is required and Parents/Guardians must stay with their child during the workshop.
